Phillies’ infielder/outfielder Scott Kingery will miss the rest of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
The 27-year-old played in just 15 games with the Phillies and went 1 for 19 with 12 strikeouts.
It’s the second straight year he’s barely played (last summer, he had COVID-19).
Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski said Sunday he’s hopeful, “(Kingery) will be ready to go for next year.”
It's another lost year for Phillies infielder/outfielder Scott Kingery, who is out for the season.https://t.co/JGXyRxoQ22
