The Utes go through a mock game as fall camp comes to an end

The Utes had a run through of what a game would look like today at practice in terms of the personnel groupings. It was different than a normal walk through practice. First string offense and defensive rotations, different formations and substitutions were covered in full detail. The coaches call out the punt team for example, then they make sure the backups are fully aware of who subs in when and where.  Every special teams and special package gets a dry run. The Utes also practiced in the stadium today to get the new players acclimated to the sights and dimensions of Rice Eccles stadium. The Utes are inside of two weeks before they play Weber state in the season opener so the Practices will become more oriented towards an actual game plan instead of just scrimmaging against each other now that fall camp is over.

Kyle Whittingham broke down the final practice of fall camp.

We caught up with running back Zack Moss after practice today.

We also talked to Javelin Guidry.
