Utah Jazz Pre-Draft Workouts – 5-5-16

The Utah Jazz held another pre-draft workout today at Zion’s Bank Basketball Center as they continue their preparations for the upcoming NBA Draft.  The draft will be held on Thursday, June 23.  The Jazz currently have 4 picks in the draft, 1 in the first, and 3 in the second round.  This will be their final workout session until after the NBA Combine.

The 6 players that were brought in today were Ryan Anderson from Arizona, Jaron Blossomgame out of Clemson, Michigan State forward Matt Costello, Trey Freeman from Old Dominion,  Thomas Walkup out of Stephen F. Austin, and Nebraska guard Andrew White.

The media caught up with Ryan Anderson from Arizona after his pre-draft workout.  He averaged 15.3 points and 10.1 rebounds a game in 33 appearances with the Wildcats this past season.  Here is the audio:

Thomas Walkup also talked with the media following his workout.  Walkup is coming off of a season in which he averaged 18.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in 34 games with Stephen F. Austin.  Here is the audio:
