The University of Utah announced the men’s basketball non-conference schedule for the 2017-18 season Monday. Television times and the Pac-12 conference schedule will be released later.
Included are three teams who finished in the top 100 of the 2016-17 RPI rankings (Butler – 13, Ole Miss – 68, BYU – 73). Utah went 20-12 last season, including an 8-2 record in non-conference games.
A previously scheduled game with Xavier was canceled by the Big East Conference in favor of a Big East-Big XII showcase. Xavier is open to rescheduling the home-and-home return trip to Salt Lake City at another date.
