The starting defense stacked up against the offense today, forcing several miscues from each quarterback. The offensive line combinations struggled to block the veteran playmakers on the defensive line.
All three quarterbacks had passes batted down at the line of scrimmage, and struggled finding receivers’ strike zones down the field. That kind of production is to be expected this early in fall camp with Utah’s historically dominant defense.
TE Harrison Handley, TE Wallace Gonzalez, WR Tyrone Smith, and WR Kyle Fulks each had stand-out catches at different points in the two-hour session.
