The U.S. men’s basketball team fell flat on its face in the Olympic opener vs. France – and some players are reportedly pointing fingers at head coach Gregg Popovich.
Per The Athletic, some players were “grumbling on their way back to the locker room about ‘running the San Antonio offense’ when apparently they feel like there are better ideas”.
Team USA failed to score a single field goal over the final four minutes of their opening game, allowing France to steal the win with a 16-2 run.
