The Utah women’s basketball team was picked to finish 8th in the Pac-12 preseason coach’s poll.
Last year, the University of Utah Women’s Basketball Team was picked to finish 11th in conference in the Pac-12 preseason coaches poll. With new head coach Lynne Roberts and a tough mentality, the previously struggling Utes surged to an 8-10 conference record and a 7th-place finish.
This season, the team returns four starters, including junior center Emily Potter and senior wing Paige Crozon. In a tough women’s basketball conference, the Utes are getting more preseason respect than they’ve had in a few years, and were picked by the coaches to finish 8th in the preseason poll.
